The KynSHOT RB5015HD is a 6.0-ounce hydraulic buffer built for the harder rearward impulse of simple-blowback 9mm PCCs. Its internal damping acts during the recoil stroke instead of relying on dead weight alone. KynSHOT positions this Heavy Damped model for barrels 8 inches or longer and for suppressed 9mm PCCs, where added bolt speed and impact can make a lighter buffer feel sharp.
The RB5015HD measures 4.35 inches overall, compresses to 3.90 inches, and has a 0.76-inch diameter. Its standard installation is a mil-spec carbine receiver extension with 7 inches of internal depth. The body uses 17-4 stainless steel throughout. KynSHOT also allows the buffer in an A5 or AR-10 receiver extension with 7.75 inches of internal depth when it is paired with KynSHOT's matching spacer weight.
This is not the catch-all KynSHOT choice for every delayed PCC. KynSHOT recommends the RB5000HP instead for a CMMG Radial Delayed Blowback carrier running in a carbine-length tube. Choose the RB5015HD when the build is a simple-blowback AR-9 in its stated barrel or suppressed use range, then match the receiver-extension depth before assembly.
