The 2.2-inch MREX MkII is the compact member of KDG's SCAR 16/17 rail family. At 9.05 inches overall and 5.3 ounces, it extends the mounting surface enough for a light, hand stop, or short grip without turning a short SCAR into a nose-heavy rifle.
The rail uses 6061-T6 aluminum and is particularly well suited to 10.5-inch SCAR 16 configurations. The black catalog SKU is MRX5-MK2-040; FDE sibling MRX5-MK2-140 shares the page. The 4.25- and 6.5-inch rails remain separate products with separate routes.
