Not every X95 owner wants to spend $280 on a free-float aluminum rail. The Manticore Arms X95 Optimus Polymer Forend is the value path to M-LOK on the platform. It is molded from fiber-reinforced heat-resistant polymer, weighs 7.3 oz (2.9 oz lighter than the factory polymer forend), and is more rigid than the unit it replaces while running 2 inches longer for a fuller support-hand grip.

The Optimus adds M-LOK slots on both sides and the underside plus a single M-LOK slot on top, which is enough to mount a light, a hand stop, and a forward QD without a full rail. It clears suppressors up to 1.6 inches in diameter, so it works on 16 and 18 inch rifles or a 13 inch SBR with a can mounted. It mates with both the OEM charging handle and the Manticore Switchback, and works with both the OEM and Manticore full-length top rails.
