Pearce Grip
Drop-in floorplate replacement that adds one round and a full-finger grip to the factory Glock 42 6-round .380 magazine.
The Pearce Grip +1 (PG-42+1) is the essential Glock 42 upgrade. It replaces the factory flush floorplate with a slightly longer molded polymer piece that adds one round of capacity (6 to 7 rounds) and gives the shooter's pinky a place to rest. The factory G42 grip is short enough that most shooters either tuck the pinky under the magazine or float it off the gun entirely. The +1 extension fixes this with virtually no increase in concealment footprint.
Installation is tool-less. The factory floorplate slides off, the internal spring and follower transfer directly, and the Pearce floorplate snaps into place in under a minute. The extension uses Pearce's OEM-grade polymer and has been the default G42 floorplate upgrade since the pistol launched.
This is a G42-specific part. The Glock 43 uses a different magazine and floorplate; Pearce makes a separate PG-43+1 for that platform. Pearce does NOT make a +2 base pad for the G42, so range and competition shooters who want more capacity should look at the Taran Tactical +2 base pad.
