Overview
The Scalarworks LEAP/08 SW0825 raises a 30mm scope to a 1.93-inch optical centerline. That extra height gives the shooter a more upright head position and adds clearance above top-rail accessories. The complete 0 MOA mount weighs 6.28 ounces and clamps to MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails.
The base uses two low-profile ClickDrive wheels instead of a protruding quick-detach lever. The paired clamps distribute the load across the rail and can be released without a special tool. Above the base, the No-Gap ring halves close against a fixed stop, which removes the need to balance equal gaps on both sides of each ring.
The included LevelDrive tool squares the flat base of a compatible scope to the mount before the ring screws are tightened. Supported Scalarworks KICK mounts can also carry a secondary red dot at 12 o'clock or on an offset. The tall mount should be paired with a stock or cheek riser that lets the shooter meet the higher eyepiece without lifting the head off the comb.
