Overview
ADE's D1 plate is the rock-bottom-price path to a red dot on a non-optic-cut Taurus. It taps out the rear sight and slides into the dovetail, presenting the RMR / Holosun 507C footprint and also accepting the Vortex Venom and Viper and Burris FastFire. It fits Glock non-MOS slides and the Taurus GX4, G3C, and G3. At $23.49 it undercuts every other mount in the lineup, with the usual dovetail tradeoffs: it replaces the rear iron sight and sits taller than a milled pocket plate. For a budget range gun it is the cheapest way onto a dot; for carry or duty, a steel dovetail mount or a TORO pocket plate is the more durable choice.
