Holosun
Digital night vision fused with a red dot; the cheapest way to put a real reticle over a night-vision image
+24 more
The Holosun DRS-NV is the digital night vision sibling to the thermal DRS-TH, and at $799.99 it is the cheapest way to put a real red-dot reticle over a night-vision image. Instead of a thermal core, it runs a 1920x1080 digital night vision sensor at 60fps, overlaid with Holosun's Multi-Reticle System so you aim with a 2 MOA dot or 65 MOA circle exactly as you would on a daylight red dot. Close the front cap and it behaves like a conventional reflex sight; open it after dark and you get a usable digital night image without a separate tube or helmet mount.
Digital night vision does not match an analog Gen 3 PVS-14 tube in pure low-light sensitivity, but it costs a quarter of the price and adds features a tube cannot: 1x/2x/4x/8x digital zoom, internal video recording, and a fused aiming reticle. The DRS-NV runs on dual 18350 batteries with magnetic USB charging, carries a 7075-T6 hard-anodized housing with an IP67 rating, and includes Shake Awake to preserve battery between shots. It is the entry point for a shooter who wants weapon-mounted night capability and aiming in one optic rather than a monocular behind a separate day sight.
