Overview

The Continental 1-6x24i is the Vector LPVO to choose when glass and reticle visibility matter more than the lowest price. Its second-focal-plane G4 BDC reticle uses a fiber center dot that remains easy to find in bright sun, while the German Schott HT glass and fully multi-coated lenses improve contrast over the entry-level S6 and Forester lines.

True 1x and 4 inches of eye relief support both-eyes-open shooting at close range. Turn to 6x and the BDC marks provide a faster path to intermediate-distance holds than the plain center dot in the Forester. The 30mm tube fits common AR cantilever mounts.

This is a second-focal-plane scope, so its BDC references are calibrated at the specified magnification rather than throughout the zoom range. It is also a scope-first package, unlike the S6 mount kit already in the catalog. Pick the Continental for better glass and a stronger daylight aiming point; pick the S6 kit when complete mounted cost matters most.
