Overview
The Aimpoint ACRO P-2 represents Aimpoint's answer to the enclosed emitter pistol optic category. Building on the original ACRO C-1's design while dramatically improving battery life (from 15,000 to 50,000 hours), the P-2 delivers Aimpoint's legendary reliability in an enclosed format that prevents debris from blocking the emitter.
Aimpoint's quality control and durability standards are unmatched in the industry. The P-2 undergoes the same torture testing as their military optics, ensuring it will function after drops, impacts, and environmental extremes that would destroy lesser optics. The ACET technology provides consistent brightness across the entire battery life without the dimming common in competitors.
The ACRO uses a proprietary footprint, requiring dedicated slide cuts or adapter plates. While this limits compatibility, more manufacturers are offering ACRO cuts as the optic gains popularity. For shooters who prioritize absolute reliability and have the budget, the ACRO P-2 is the premium choice.
