Overview
The SIG SAUER ROMEO2 SOR21000 pairs a Circle/Dot reticle with a 30mm clear aperture. The optic can run open, under the included half shroud, or fully enclosed under the full steel shroud and sealed polycarbonate rear window. The enclosed setup keeps moisture and debris away from the emitter, but the user-installed rear window must be assembled in a warm, dry place to reduce the chance of internal fogging.
The side-loading CR2032 can be changed without removing the sight. SIG rates runtime at up to 25,000 hours at medium brightness. Fifteen brightness levels include 12 daylight and three night-vision settings, while MOTAC handles motion-based sleep and wake.
The ROMEO2 shares SIG's ROMEO1PRO footprint and mounts directly to SIG pistols with the PRO or R2 slide cut. It can fit other pistols through the correct adapter plate, but SIG warns that recoil-boss differences prevent fit on some true DeltaPoint Pro cuts. Confirm the slide or plate before ordering.
