Trijicon RCR

The Trijicon RCR (Ruggedized Closed Reflex) is Trijicon's enclosed-emitter answer to the Aimpoint ACRO P-2 and Holosun 509T X2. It takes the RMR footprint that dominates factory optic-ready slides and seals the emitter inside a one-piece 7075-T6 housing. Debris, rain, holster lint, and slide blowback no longer have a path to the LED, which is the single biggest durability weakness of the original RMR platform on pistols.

The RCR runs 50,000+ hours on a CR2032, rated at 6 years of continuous use at brightness setting 5. The battery loads from the top without pulling the optic off the slide, so zero is preserved through every battery change - a major upgrade over the RMR's bottom-load design. Ten brightness settings include three night-vision modes and a super-bright daylight level for bright ranges or laser protection glasses.

RMR footprint compatibility means the RCR drops onto existing RMR-cut slides from Glock MOS, SIG, S&W M&P, and aftermarket slide makers without adapter plates. Forged in Wixom, Michigan from 7075-T6 and waterproof to 66 feet, the RCR is built to outlast the pistol it sits on. At 1.95 oz it's heavier than a standard RMR but lighter than the 509T X2 and ACRO P-2, delivering closed-emitter protection with no footprint compromise.
