Overview
The CMMG Banshee MkGs represents CMMG's Glock-magazine 9mm PCC path. CMMG's own platform guide identifies Mk10 as the Glock 10mm-magazine platform, while MkGs is the Glock 9mm/.40 platform. CMMG's proprietary Radial Delayed Blowback system uses rotating lugs to delay bolt unlock, reducing felt recoil compared with simple blowback designs while maintaining familiar AR-15 controls and ergonomics.
The Radial Delayed system also makes the Banshee a strong suppressor-host candidate. Simple blowback PCCs can get gassy and abrupt when suppressed because of bolt mass and backpressure; the delayed system gives builders more room to tune the gun around subsonic 9mm ammunition.
CMMG offers Banshee variants across multiple barrel lengths and legal configurations, so exact price and measurements should be tied to a dealer SKU before purchase. Standard Glock-pattern 9mm magazines keep magazine sourcing easy, and the AR-15 manual of arms means AR shooters transition quickly.
