Overview

The SIG Romeo Zero Elite is the factory-installed optic on SIG's P365X Romeo Zero, P365 XL Romeo Zero, and P365 X-Macro Comp Romeo Zero Elite pistol packages. It is the lightest viable carry red dot on the market at half an ounce, built around a carbon-infused polymer housing reinforced with a hardened steel protective shroud over the lens area.

The Elite variant adds two reticle options (3 MOA dot or 2 MOA dot with 32 MOA circle) and an upgraded lens coating over the original Romeo Zero. It uses the dominant Shield RMSc footprint for sub-compact pistols, which means cross-compatibility with Holosun EPS Carry, Springfield Hellcat OSP, Glock 43X MOS, and aftermarket sub-compact slides. CR1632 battery life runs roughly 20,000 hours.

The polymer-and-steel construction is a deliberate choice for weight, not a corner-cut: the optic survives drop tests but the polymer housing is more vulnerable to long-term abuse than aluminum or titanium competitors like the Holosun SCS Carry or Trijicon RMRcc. For carry use where the weight saving matters daily and the optic is not living through 1,000-round training days, the Romeo Zero Elite is the right tradeoff. For range-primary or duty use, step up to a metal-housing alternative.

Key Features

  • Reticle options: 3 MOA dot or 2 MOA dot with 32 MOA circle

  • Sub-half-ounce weight (0.5 oz) for minimal carry weight penalty
  • 8 daytime brightness settings
  • CR1632 battery, approximately 20,000 hours of runtime
  • 1.6 inches long, 1 inch wide

Pros

  • +Lightest viable carry red dot on the market
