One caveat on Glock: the current Gen 6 is a step back. It regressed the trigger from the Gen 5 and swapped the proven MOS cut for a polymer-plate optic system that can rotate a red dot off zero under recoil. A note on the SIG P320: We chose not to include the SIG P320 series in our rankings. While the P320 won the US Army MHS contract (M17/M18) and offers excellent modularity, it has been the subject of multiple lawsuits alleging unintended discharges.
