The Springfield XD(M) Elite 10mm delivers the most complete modern feature set in its price class. The OSP (Optical Sight Pistol) slide accepts optic mounting plates for Trijicon RMR, Holosun 507C, and other popular footprints without requiring aftermarket slide milling. The META trigger represents a genuine improvement over the standard XD(M) trigger: flat face, shorter pre-travel, cleaner break, and a tactile reset that is competitive with aftermarket trigger upgrades on other platforms.

The match-grade Melonite barrel produces accuracy that belies the sub-$700 price point. Springfield's Melonite treatment (a ferritic nitrocarburizing process) provides corrosion resistance and lubricity comparable to more expensive barrel finishes.
