Staccato
5.4-inch bull-barrel 2011 race gun built for USPSA Open and Carry Optics divisions, 17/20+1 capacity, 2.5 lb single-action trigger
0-10 Scale Across 8 Axes
The Staccato XL is the 5.4-inch bull-barrel race gun in the Staccato lineup, built specifically for USPSA Open and Carry Optics divisions where sight radius, controlled recoil, and trigger speed dominate the stage timer. The 38 oz weight without optic and the long bull barrel keep the muzzle flat through fast splits, and the 2.5 lb single-action trigger out of the box matches what most shooters pay a smith to tune on lesser platforms.
The XL ships with two 17-round magazines and supports 20-round extended mags for stages where reloads cost time. Staccato's optic mounting kit fits Trijicon RMR/SRO/RMRHD, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, Holosun 507C/508T, and the company includes factory mounting and zero with any optic purchased through the order configurator. The tool-less Dawson Precision recoil system makes spring swaps and field stripping a one-minute operation.
This is a 2011-pattern pistol that uses Staccato proprietary 2011 magazines, not Glock G17 or P320 mags like the HD series. That magazine ecosystem is a known cost factor at roughly $90 per spare, but for division shooters who already own a mag stack, it integrates directly with the broader 2011 competition support world. The XL is not a carry pistol and not a duty pistol; it is a purpose-built race gun at $3,599 MSRP.
