TANDEMKROSS ADX (Advantage X) receiver on a Manticore X Lower with a 16.5-inch threaded Spitfire barrel and folding Picatinny stock; feeds from Ruger 10/22 magazines. Serialized firearm; ships to an FFL
The ADX Race Rifle is TANDEMKROSS's complete competition rimfire, built on the company's own ADX (Advantage X) receiver instead of a Ruger action. The receiver's defining feature is a left-side charging handle: pull it back and lift it into a steel-reinforced notch to lock the bolt open, then slap it down to send the bolt home, so the support hand runs the action while the firing hand never leaves the grip. A removable rear cap held by a self-retaining pin lets the recoil spring, charging handle, and bolt slide out the back without compressing the spring, which also opens the receiver to a solid cleaning rod. A complete field strip takes three pins.
The receiver carries an integrally machined extended Picatinny rail with a skeletonized channel and a Teflon-impregnated hardcoat black anodize. It sits on the Manticore X Lower, which merges the trigger assembly and stock interface into one unit with a pull-weight-adjustable trigger, ambidextrous rotary safety, enlarged bolt lock, bi-directional magazine release, and a reversible QD sling socket; two self-retaining pins split the rifle into upper and lower halves. The 16.5-inch Spitfire barrel is a tensioned stainless barrel in an M-LOK-cut aluminum sleeve, twisted 1:16 and threaded 1/2x28 for a rimfire suppressor or compensator. The rest of the build is the M-LOK Forend for Manticore X, a TANDEMKROSS barrel retaining V-block, the KrossFire bolt, and a Die Free Co Kung-Fu grip.
The Rim/Edge folding Picatinny buttstock ships folding left in the inline position for tall optic mounts; it reverses to fold right, moves up or down for comb height, and resets to a 12-degree drop for low sights. A buffer tube mount in the box takes telescoping AR-style stocks instead. The rifle measures 33.5 inches open and 25.25 inches folded, weighs 55.4 oz unloaded, and feeds from Ruger 10/22 magazines, with one DoubleKross magazine included. It is not a drop-in host for every 10/22 part: the Manticore X replaces the 10/22 trigger housing and stock, the launch ADX receiver supports standard fixed barrels only, and the rear cap stands in for an aftermarket bolt buffer. TANDEMKROSS ships it to an FFL and not to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC.
