Overview
The Winchester Wildcat 22 SR is the light semi-auto choice for range training and small-game use. Its straight-blowback action, composite stock, 16.5-inch barrel, and 4-pound weight create a compact rifle with a 10-round capacity.
The SR barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and ships with a knurled thread protector. Winchester pairs a fully adjustable ghost-ring rear sight with a ramped post front sight, then adds an integral Picatinny rail for an optic.
Choose the Wildcat over the Savage A22 FV-SR when lower weight, included ghost-ring sights, and a published 1/2x28 muzzle pitch lead the decision. Choose the Savage when its medium-contour button-rifled barrel, target crown, and adjustable AccuTrigger matter more.
