It pairs a 2 MOA red dot with a solar panel and CR2032 backup battery for theoretically indefinite daytime operation, with 150,000 hours of advertised CR2032 life when the solar panel is shaded. Construction is anodized aluminum with multi-coated glass. The optic ships with a low-mount and a 39mm absolute co-witness AR mount, which is unusual at this price tier and saves roughly $40 in mount cost over competitors. The 12 brightness settings include 2 night vision compatible levels, and the optic is rated IPX7 (submersible to 1 meter). Auto-shutoff at 14 hours of inactivity preserves the battery during storage.
