KDG FN SCAR Stock

The factory FN SCAR stock has two weaknesses owners notice fast: the side-folding hinge feels less solid than a $3,500 rifle deserves, and the cheek riser sits too low for a clean weld behind a magnified optic. The KDG FN SCAR Stock fixes both. It is built around all-metal internals, including a nitride-coated 17-4 stainless steel hinge assembly and an extruded aluminum spine, so the lockup is tight and the folding action stays crisp over time.

The headline feature is the three-position cheek riser, which adjusts between lowered, raised 0.25 inch, and raised 0.50 inch. That range covers everything from iron sights to a tall-mounted LPVO or precision scope, which is exactly the use case the SCAR 17 sees as a .308 DMR. The butt pad is injection-molded Santoprene TPE for grip against a plate carrier. It fits the SCAR 16, 17, and 20 (the compact 15P does not accept it) and runs $384.98. For owners who want a factory-correct upgrade instead, FN's own SSR rear stock is the lower-cost path to the telescoping, adjustable-cheek-piece feature set.
