ProMag Archangel OPFOR SKS Conversion Stock (AASKS)

The Archangel OPFOR is ProMag's premium answer to modernizing the SKS. The polymer conversion chassis drops the surplus action into an AR-influenced layout: an adjustable-length-of-pull buttstock, an adjustable cheek riser to get the shooter behind an optic at the right height, an AR-style pistol grip, and QD sling sockets for a real two-point setup. It is the step up from a simple folding tube stock toward a configurable, optics-ready host.

Installation is drop-in on most SKS variants with no permanent modification. The adjustable length of pull and cheek riser are the headline features; together they solve the SKS's biggest ergonomic problem, which is a fixed drop stock that fights any mounted optic. The chassis carries the action, controls, and trigger group through without gunsmithing.

Where the OPFOR wins over the ATI Strikeforce is configurability and the cheek riser; where it costs more is exactly that adjustability. Owners who only want a folding carry length will be happy with the cheaper Strikeforce. Owners who want to run glass on an SKS and actually get a repeatable cheek weld will want the OPFOR.
