Overview
The WOOX Vigilante Adjustable Stock is the carbine-tube member of the Vigilante line: a Claro walnut body over hard anodized aluminum internals that rides a standard mil-spec receiver extension and adjusts across a 11.5 in to 14.5 in length of pull with no spacers. It is a drop-in swap for a polymer collapsible stock.
The tradeoff against the fixed Vigilante is weight. At 1.35 lb it runs roughly 8 oz heavier than the 0.84 lb fixed version, which is the cost of the adjustment hardware and the aluminum chassis inside the wood. It also keeps the telescoping-stock feature, so it is not a path to a fixed-stock compliance build.
Fitment is mil-spec only. WOOX specifies a mil-spec sized carbine receiver extension, which rules out both commercial-diameter tubes and the A2 rifle-length tube the fixed Vigilante requires.
