Caldwell
Caldwell's Chirp radar chronograph generates muzzle velocity, ballistic coefficient, downrange energy, and a custom one-shot drop chart. The big-button, rubber-keyed UI is the friendliest of the radar chronographs.

The Caldwell VelociRadar uses Chirp (FMCW) radar instead of pulsed Doppler, which lets it track the bullet downrange to derive ballistic coefficient, downrange energy, and a custom drop chart from a single shot. Most chronographs hand you a muzzle velocity and stop. The VelociRadar hands you muzzle velocity, BC, and drop data, then exports that to the Caldwell app for storage and comparison across rifles and loads. The interface is the friendliest radar UI on the market: large rubber buttons, traditional menu layout, no touchy gestures. The trade-off is the unit is bigger than the pocket-size Garmin and Athlon chronographs, and Shooting Illustrated noted mixed results on shotgun slugs and pellets.
