DryFireMag
Drop-in Glock magazine that resets the trigger mechanically, so you run trigger and draw reps in your own pistol without racking the slide.
DryFireMag is a drop-in replacement magazine that lets you dry fire your own Glock without racking the slide between every press. A spring-and-lever mechanism inside the magazine body catches the trigger and resets it mechanically, simulating a 5.5 to 6 pound factory pull. You keep a firing grip, your sights stay on target, and you get a fresh trigger every press, which is the whole point of dry fire repetition.
The advantage over a dedicated training pistol like the SIRT is that you are training in the exact gun you carry or compete with. Your grip, your trigger, your sights, your holster. The blaze-orange base plate makes it obvious at a glance that the pistol is in training configuration, so it never gets confused with a live magazine. The unit covers the Glock double-stack family in 9mm, .40, .357 SIG, and .45 G.A.P.
DryFireMag does not project a laser, and the standard model is not compatible with chamber laser cartridges, since the striker never drops to trigger one. It is a pure trigger-reset trainer. For scored hit feedback, run a rail-mounted motion sensor such as the MantisX, or use a laser cartridge in a normal magazine in a separate session. On its own it solves the single biggest friction point in pistol dry fire: the need to rack the slide after every shot.
