DryFireMag
Drop-in M&P magazine that resets the trigger mechanically, so you run trigger and draw reps in your own polymer-frame M&P without racking the slide.
The M&P version of the DryFireMag does the same job as the Glock unit in an M&P body: a spring-and-lever mechanism inside the magazine catches the trigger and resets it, so you press, break, and press again without touching the slide. It is set to simulate a factory 5.5 to 6 pound M&P pull, which means your dry reps carry the same trigger weight you feel on the range instead of a dead striker or a lighter substitute.
Fitment is the polymer double-stack M&P line. The standard unit covers M&P9 and M&P40 in original, Compact, Subcompact, Pro, and M2.0 configurations. It does not fit the Shield or Shield EZ, any metal-frame M&P, the CSX, Equalizer, Bodyguard 380, VE, or 5.7. M2.0 C.O.R.E. pistols need DryFireMag's separate over-travel-stop-compatible version instead, since the C.O.R.E. trigger geometry differs.
Like every standard DryFireMag, this one does not work with laser cartridges of any kind, and it projects nothing on its own. It is a pure trigger-reset trainer. Pair it with a rail-mounted motion sensor if you want scored feedback, or run a laser cartridge in a normal magazine as a separate session. What it removes is the slide-racking break between every press, which is the thing that ends most dry fire sessions early.
Add the DryFireMag Trigger-Reset Magazine (S&W M&P) to your build and see how it enhances your platform.
