V3 Ballistic Chronograph

The MagnetoSpeed V3 is the only chronograph in this guide that does not rely on radar or optical sensors. The bayonet clamps to the barrel or suppressor and reads bullet velocity with electromagnetic sensors as the projectile passes the array. Because it mounts at the muzzle, it does not care about cloud cover, dawn/dusk light, rain, snow, sky angle, or muzzle direction. Sample size of one per shot, no missed reads. The trade-off is well known: hanging the bayonet off the muzzle changes barrel harmonics, so the group you shoot through a MagnetoSpeed is not the group you shoot off-bench. Most reloaders use the V3 for velocity verification and load development, then pull it for accuracy testing.
