CMC AR-15/AR-10 PCC Trigger

The CMC AR-15/AR-10 PCC Trigger is a 9mm-specific version of CMC's popular self-contained drop-in group, and the mid-priced pick for an AR-pattern PCC like the Daniel Defense PCC. The difference from CMC's standard rifle trigger is where it counts for a blowback gun: the hammer is reshaped and hardened for the faster, heavier bolt of a direct-blowback 9mm carrier, so it does not batter itself the way a rifle-tuned hammer can when a PCC bolt drives it back on every shot. This is a distinct SKU from CMC's standard single-stage trigger, which is not rated for PCC blowback use.

It breaks at a factory-set 3.5 pounds, single-stage, with the flat trigger shoe that gives a linear finger position and a short, snappy reset. The whole assembly is self-contained, so installation is a true drop-in into a standard mil-spec .154 inch AR-15 pocket, retained by the factory pins. CMC offers the PCC trigger in small-pin .154 and large-pin .172 versions and with a flat or curved shoe; the small-pin flat is the right pick for the Daniel Defense PCC and the vast majority of modern AR-pattern 9mm lowers.

At its price it sits between the value AR drop-ins and the Timney AR PCC, and it carries CMC's proven self-contained construction: 8620 alloy and S7 tool steel components machined to tight tolerances, with anti-walk pin screws torqued to no more than 12 in-lb. For a shooter who wants a flat-shoe, blowback-rated trigger without paying the Timney premium, the CMC PCC is the value-to-performance sweet spot.
