Overview
The CCT is CMC's Combat Curved bow: a curved trigger face carrying the same lower index hook as the company's signature flat shoe, so the finger lands in one repeatable spot without the shooter having to adapt to a fully flat face. Everything behind the bow is the standard CMC drop-in cassette, an 8620 alloy steel housing with S7 tool steel internals machined to plus or minus .001 inch, hand assembled and hand tested before it ships.
CMC sells the CCT across five factory-set pull weights from 2.5 lb to 6.5 lb at a single price, so the pull is a purchase decision rather than an adjustment screw. The 4.5 lb and 5.5 lb options are the sensible picks for a duty or general-purpose rifle; 2.5 lb belongs on a bench gun. Small-pin, large-pin, and M&P 15-22 composite pin versions all exist, and the anti-walk pin set is in the box.
