The KIDD Single-Stage Trigger Unit fills the gap between a value-oriented Ruger BX module and KIDD's competition-focused two-stage assembly. It replaces the complete fire-control housing, so a scratch build does not depend on a factory trigger pack or donor internals. KIDD wire-EDM cuts the hammer, sear, and disconnector, houses them in a CNC-machined billet-aluminum guard, and includes its automatic bolt release and interchangeable magazine-release system.
The buyer chooses a pull setting from 1.5 to 5 pounds when ordering. KIDD exposes a single pull-weight screw, but its instructions reserve adjustment for KIDD or a knowledgeable gunsmith. The official fitment language calls it a complete replacement unit for the Ruger 10/22 and a true drop-in for nearly all 10/22 rifles; the fixed-receiver tag keeps it inside this builder's conventional rifle boundary.
