Partisan Triggers
Drop-in forced reset trigger with 3-position safety for rapid follow-up shots
The Partisan Triggers Disruptor (US Patent 9146067) is a forced reset trigger descended from the original TacCon 3MR design. Unlike standard semi-automatic triggers that rely on the shooter to release the trigger, the Disruptor uses the rifle's bolt carrier movement to mechanically force the trigger forward after each shot. This creates an assisted reset mechanism that enables significantly faster follow-up shots while maintaining one round per trigger pull, preserving the firearm's semi-automatic classification.
The trigger features a three-position safety selector with Safe, Semi-Automatic, and Enhanced Semi-Automatic modes. In Enhanced Semi mode, the bolt carrier's rearward movement pushes down on a reset lever, which physically forces the trigger forward into full reset. The trigger then locks and cannot move rearward again until the bolt returns fully forward and locks into battery. This mechanical reset is substantially faster than manual trigger release, allowing experienced shooters to achieve rapid strings of fire.
Constructed from tool steel and 4140 chromoly on all wear surfaces, the Disruptor delivers superior strength, durability, and long service life. The trigger pull weight of 3.75-4.1 lbs is CMP Service Rifle Match compliant, providing a balance between precision and reliability. As a true drop-in replacement, installation requires no modification, gunsmithing, or fitting. However, proper buffer selection is critical: the Disruptor requires a minimum H2 buffer (H3 recommended) for carbine guns with 16" or shorter barrels, or a standard rifle buffer for 20" A2 stocks. Anti-walk pins are recommended for optimal performance.
