Timney AR PCC Trigger

The Timney AR PCC Trigger is the benchmark premium drop-in for AR-pattern pistol caliber carbines like the Daniel Defense PCC. A direct-blowback 9mm runs a heavier bolt at higher velocity than a gas-operated 5.56 AR, and that bolt slams the hammer harder on every cycle. A standard AR-15 trigger built for rifle bolt speeds can peen its hammer hooks and lose engagement under that abuse. Timney engineers the AR PCC around exactly that problem, with a hardened steel bridge and a heat-treated hammer sized to take blowback impact and hold consistent engagement over high round counts.

Mechanically it is a self-contained single-stage module that breaks clean between 2.5 and 3 pounds with a short, positive reset. It drops into any standard mil-spec .154 inch AR-15 fire control pocket, which is what the Daniel Defense PCC and most AR-pattern 9mm lowers use, so installation is the same five-minute job as any AR drop-in: punch the factory group out, seat the module, retain it with the original pins. Timney offers the trigger with a curved (681) or straight (681-ST) shoe at the same price.

Because it fits all common PCC calibers in an AR-pattern lower, one trigger covers 9mm, .40, and .45 builds. It carries Timney's lifetime warranty. The only reason not to buy it is price: it runs roughly double a value AR drop-in, and a shooter who wants a two-stage or a lighter budget will look at the Wilson Combat TTU 9mm or the HIPERFIRE PDI BLK instead.
