Brownells sells this 16.5-inch barrel for M27-inspired BRN-4 builds. Faxon makes it from 4150 steel with a chrome-lined 5.56 NATO chamber and bore, 1:7 twist, manganese phosphate finish, and a forward bayonet lug. Its 1/2x28 muzzle threads accept the intended muzzle device. Brownells specifies a BRN-4 16-inch gas block and lists BRN-4, HK416, MR556, and MR556A1 fitment. This is a reproduction part with a button-rifled bore, not the issued HK barrel. Brownells does not list current MR556 A4 fitment on the product page.
