Magpul MBUS Pro Steel Sights

The Magpul MBUS Pro represents the professional-grade evolution of Magpul's legendary polymer backup sights, constructed entirely from corrosion-resistant hardened steel with a Melonite QPQ finish. Introduced in 2013, the Pro line addresses the demands of users who wanted the low profile and reliability of MBUS design with the durability and confidence of all-metal construction.

When folded, the MBUS Pro sights virtually disappear on the rail - the front sight stows at just 0.43 inches and the rear at 0.38 inches above the rail surface. This ultra-low profile keeps the sights clear of optics, lasers, and other accessories while ensuring they're always ready when needed. Unlike the polymer MBUS, the Pro sights are not spring-loaded; deployment requires manually flipping the sight up, where positive detents lock it at standard AR sight height.

The front sight features Magpul's innovative dual-width sight post - a 0.06-inch standard width for maximum visibility and a 0.04-inch match width for precision work. Both elevation (front) and windage (rear) adjustments are tool-free, using low-profile knobs that don't protrude when the sights are stowed. The narrow profile of the front sight accommodates most IR laser and light configurations, making the MBUS Pro an excellent choice for professional builds with extensive accessory rails.
