Trijicon HD Night Sights (1911 Novak Cut)

Trijicon's HD Night Sights are the most-stocked 1911 night sight upgrade in the country. The set combines tritium lamps in both the front and rear blades with a photoluminescent orange or yellow ring around the front tritium vial. The ring is bright in any light condition, charging from ambient daylight and glowing under defensive low-light, while the tritium provides true zero-light visibility. The wide rear notch is a deliberate Trijicon design choice: it prioritizes fast front-sight pickup and target acquisition over distance precision, which is the right tradeoff for a defensive 1911.

The set is fit specifically to the Novak Lo-Mount dovetail, the most common 1911 sight cut on modern production pistols (Springfield Loaded and TRP, Kimber, Sig Sauer 1911, Dan Wesson Specialist, Wilson Combat, Nighthawk). GI / Mil-Spec dovetails are NOT compatible; if your 1911 has the older taller GI cut (Springfield Mil-Spec, older Colts, GI clones), order the Trijicon HD Colt cut variant instead. Verify your specific pistol's dovetail before ordering.

Steel housing construction with the standard Trijicon 12-year tritium lamp warranty. Available with orange front ring (default, highest visibility for most shooters) or yellow front ring (preferred by shooters with tritium-color sensitivity or who want a calmer sight picture). The rear blade is blacked out with no dots, the design intent is to draw the eye to the bright front sight rather than balance attention across three dots.
