Large-frame Super Safety for AR-10 and AR308 receiver sets: S7 tool steel checkered cam and S7 steel M508 lever, not a drop-in
The GMR S7 M508 is a Super Safety sized for the large-frame AR. Grey Market Research builds it for AR-10s, AR308s, and other guns that use an AR308 receiver set, and it is a selector, not a trigger: the cam and the M508 lever take the place of the safety selector and run with a compatible trigger, which GMR sells as an option. No forced reset trigger is rated for the AR-10; the purpose-built .308 forced reset parts are selectors like this one.
The kit is GMR's heat-treated S7 tool steel checkered cam and S7 steel M508 lever, with the lifter spring assembly (machine screw, lock washer, and spring) already installed on the lever, plus a stainless machine-cut detent. GMR sells it with or without a compatible trigger.
It is not a drop-in, and GMR spells out the requirements. The upper receiver must be trimmed flush with the rear takedown lug to give the lever clearance. The lower rear section of the bolt carrier must measure about 2.20 inches; GMR warns that a carrier around 2.40 inches can damage or break the lever, so measure your carrier before you order. It will not fit small-frame .308s such as the Ruger SFAR, DPMS Gen 2, or POF Revolution. GMR does not accept returns on modified parts. Verify current federal, state, and local law before ordering.
