Budget set-screw fixed low-profile gas block for .750 journals. The price floor for a functional .750 block on a standard-pressure carbine.

The PSA Low Profile Gas Block is a budget-floor way to get a .750 block under a free-float rail at $14.99. It is a fixed, non-adjustable set-screw block in black-finished steel, dimensionally identical to dozens of other commodity .750 blocks and sized to clear most slim handguards. For a standard 16 inch 5.56 carbine that does not run a suppressor, it does the one job a gas block needs to do: seal the gas port and route gas into the tube.
There is no adjustment, no clamp option, and no premium material story here. The set screws bear directly on the barrel and a dimple is recommended for a positive lock. At its price, the PSA block is the part you buy when the budget is allocated to the barrel, optic, and trigger and the gas block is an afterthought that simply needs to work. It will not solve overgassing on a short-barrel or suppressed host; that is a job for a flow-restricting gas tube or a heavier buffer and spring.
For a basic carbine build or a backup block in the parts bin, the PSA block is hard to beat on cost. For a suppressed or short-barrel host, spend the extra money on a Strike Industries, BCM, or Geissele block or pair this one with a BRT EZTune tube.
