Overview
The Ruger Harrier Model 28600 is a 5.56 NATO AR-15 with a 16.1-inch government-profile barrel, mid-length gas system, 15-inch free-float M-LOK handguard, and continuous Picatinny top rail. It ships without sights.
The upper and lower receivers are 7075 aluminum forgings machined to mil-spec dimensions. The rifle uses a GI trigger, selector, charging handle, carbine buffer, and recoil spring. The lower's tension screw adjusts upper-to-lower fit. Factory furniture is a Magpul MOE-K2 grip and a DT Carbine stock on a mil-spec receiver extension.
Model 28601 is a different upgrade host. It uses a carbine-length gas system, A2 grip, M4-style stock, and a handguard without a continuous top rail. Match the model number before selecting gas-system, handguard, stock, or sight upgrades.
