Lancer L7AWM 20-Round .308 Magazine

The Lancer L7AWM is the premium tier of the AR-10 magazine market. Lancer pioneered the hybrid construction approach: a hardened steel feed lip and locking lug shroud overmolded onto an advanced polymer body. The result is a magazine that resists the feed lip deformation that historically killed cheap SR-25 polymer mags while staying lighter than all-metal alternatives.

The translucent polymer body lets shooters check remaining round count visually without removing the magazine, useful for precision rifle stages and timed competition. Most L7AWMs are sold in clear or smoke; FDE and OD options exist at slightly higher cost. The body is built specifically for the SR-25 / DPMS Gen 1 pattern and fits all the major AR-10 platforms (KAC SR-25, Aero M5, DD5, LMT MWS, Sig 716, Ruger SFAR, POF Revolution, JP LRP-07).

At roughly $45 each, L7AWMs cost twice what PMAG 20s cost. The justification is hybrid feed lip durability and the round-count window.
