Magpul PMAG 25 LR/SR GEN M3

The Magpul PMAG 25 LR/SR GEN M3 is the default magazine for SR-25 / DPMS-pattern AR-10 rifles in .308 Winchester, 7.62x51 NATO, and 6.5 Creedmoor. It fits the dominant large-frame AR ecosystem, including Knight's Armament SR-25 and M110, Aero Precision M5, Daniel Defense DD5, LMT MWS, POF Revolution, Sig 716, Springfield Saint Victor .308, Ruger SFAR, JP LRP-07, and most LaRue OBR variants.

Magpul's GEN M3 design uses crush-resistant polymer with steel-reinforced internal feed lip surfaces to prevent the geometry drift that plagued early-generation SR-25 polymer magazines. The four-way anti-tilt follower and constant-curve feed path handle the longer .308-class cartridge geometry without the bolt-over-base failures common to repurposed AR-15-style internals.

At roughly $22 street, the PMAG 25 undercuts most metal SR-25 magazines by half while matching or beating them on real-world reliability. Practical advice: buy these in 5-packs for any AR-10 build, mix loaded mags between range training and home use, and avoid the older non-LR/SR PMAG variants which were AR-15 only.
