Overview

EGW's 49386 mount is the micro-and-DPP companion to its RMR-footprint 49541 mount. It bolts a 7075 aluminum mount to the rear-sight dovetail of a non-T.O.R.O. Taurus G2S, G2C, or G3 and presents the Holosun K / RMSc footprint plus the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro pattern, which also covers the Vortex Defender CCW, JPoint, Redfield Accelerator, and Optima. It is the path for an owner who runs a micro dot like the Holosun 507K or a DeltaPoint Pro and already has a non-optic-cut slide.

As with any rear-sight dovetail mount, it replaces the iron rear sight, so a battery-dead optic leaves no backup sights. Owners who want both irons and an optic are better served stepping up to a G3 T.O.R.O. and a pocket plate. EGW's value is closing the gap on a slide that has no factory cut without paying for milling.
