GG&G Ruger Mini-14/Mini-30 Picatinny Rail Scope Mount

The GG&G Mini-14/Mini-30 Picatinny Rail Scope Mount is the conventional picatinny solution for owners who want the broadest possible optic compatibility on a Mini-14. Five-point-seven inches of MIL-STD-1913 rail machined from 6061-T6 billet, hard-coat Type III anodized in matte black or stainless, drops onto the factory scope-ring cuts on the receiver. No gunsmithing, no drilling.

Compared to the Samson Hannibal, the GG&G uses standard picatinny dimensions throughout and accepts any picatinny-mounted optic, scope ring, magnifier, or co-witness setup. The tradeoff is mounting height: the GG&G stacks roughly 0.2 inches higher than the integrated-footprint Hannibal because the optic mount sits on top of the rail rather than into it.

For shooters running a magnified scope, an LPVO, or a red dot in a quick-detach mount that they swap between rifles, the GG&G is the right pick. For shooters running an Aimpoint Micro footprint optic and chasing the lowest possible mounting height, the Hannibal is better. Both fit Ranch and Tactical 580-series Mini-14 rifles without modification.
