EOTech XPS2

The EOTech XPS2 delivers the EOTech holographic reticle in the company's shortest, lightest, and most compact form factor. By utilizing a single CR123 battery mounted transversely, the XPS2 achieves a remarkably small footprint while maintaining the large viewing window and parallax-free aiming that define EOTech optics. For shooters who want the EOTech experience without night vision requirements, the XPS2 provides value compared to the EXPS3.

The signature 68 MOA ring with 1 MOA center dot enables lightning-fast target acquisition in close quarters while providing precision capability beyond 200 yards. The holographic reticle technology projects the reticle at infinity, meaning the dot appears at the target plane regardless of eye position—eliminating the parallax shift that affects traditional red dots at close distances. This makes the XPS2 particularly effective for awkward shooting positions and unconventional stances.

Like all EOTech products, buyers should be aware of the company's quality history: in 2015, L-3 Communications settled a $25.6 million lawsuit for knowingly selling defective optics with thermal drift and cold weather issues to the military since 2006. While post-2016 units show improved thermal performance, ongoing delamination issues where moisture causes reticle dimming remain reported by some users. The XPS2 is waterproof to 10 feet and operates in temperatures from -40°F to 140°F. The 20 brightness settings accommodate conditions from dark indoor ranges to bright desert sunlight. Available in multiple reticle configurations including the popular -0 (single dot), -2 (two dots for elevation holds), and Green reticle variants.
