Overview
The Sig Sauer Tango MSR 1-6x24 delivers exceptional value in the budget LPVO category, offering many premium features at an accessible $399 price point. Designed specifically for Modern Sporting Rifles (MSR), this scope brings Sig's military optics experience to civilian shooters building capable carbines without breaking the bank.
The MSR-BDC6 reticle is purpose-built for 5.56/.223 ammunition, providing precise holdover points calibrated for common barrel lengths and ammunition weights. This makes the Tango MSR particularly appealing for newer shooters who want a simple, effective solution for extending their carbine's effective range without complex ballistic calculations.
At 18 oz, the Tango MSR remains reasonably lightweight while delivering clear glass quality that punches above its price point. While it doesn't match the optical clarity of premium LPVOs, it provides more than adequate performance for recreational shooting, training, and home defense applications. The included throw lever and lens covers add value that competitors often charge extra for.
