Overview
The TTI Competition Lightning magwell is Taran Tactical's full-size competition funnel for Gen 5 Glocks. It is CNC machined in the USA from billet aluminum as one piece, weighs 1.7 ounces to add weight low on the grip, and retains with a single extended-point 10-32 set screw. Forward relief cuts keep it comfortable, a large underside funnel guides the magazine in, and TTI states it fits the IPSC box.
TTI lists it for the Gen 5 Glock 17, 34, 22, 35, and 45, on frames with or without the U-shaped cut at the base of the frame. It does not fit the Glock 19, 19X, or 23, .45-caliber Glocks, Poly80 frames, or Gen 1 through Gen 4 frames, and it does not work with a backstrap installed. Stippled grips may need slight fitting. Magazines usually need a TTI base pad to seat properly in it, and underside cuts keep it working with current base pad extensions. It is larger than TTI's Gen 5 Carry Magwell, which is the lower-profile option for a holstered gun.
