Glock 17 Gen5 MOS

The Glock 17 Gen5 MOS adds Glock's Modular Optic System to the proven G17 platform. The MOS slide features a milled pocket that accepts various adapter plates, allowing mounting of most popular red dot sights including the Trijicon RMR, Holosun 507C, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, and others. This is the factory solution for shooters who want an optic-ready Glock without aftermarket slide milling.

Glock includes multiple adapter plates in the box, covering the most common optic footprints. The suppressor-height iron sights provide co-witness with most mounted optics, ensuring a backup sighting system. All Gen5 features are present: Glock Marksman Barrel, nDLC finish, flared magazine well, and ambidextrous controls.

The MOS system has faced criticism for adapter plate screws loosening under recoil, but this is easily addressed with proper installation using thread locker. For shooters who want factory warranty coverage and don't want to send their slide out for milling, the MOS offers a practical optic-mounting solution.
