Trijicon SRO Green Dot

The Trijicon SRO Green Dot brings a 2.5 MOA green LED to the Specialized Reflex Optic platform, announced in May 2026 in black and coyote brown anodized finishes. Everything that made the red SRO the dominant competition pistol optic carries over unchanged: the large circular window that makes dot pickup near-automatic, the forged 7075-T6 aluminum housing, the top-loading CR2032 that swaps without breaking zero, and the standard Trijicon RMR footprint that drops onto any RMR-cut slide.

The green LED is the whole story. Green sits near the peak sensitivity of the human eye, so a green dot reads brighter than a red dot at the same power. That lets shooters run lower brightness settings, which stretches the CR2032 and cuts washout in bright daylight. Green also holds up better through fog, haze, and glare, and shooters with astigmatism or red-green color deficiency commonly report a cleaner, rounder aiming point from green emitters. Eight brightness settings include two night-vision modes plus an automatic mode driven by the ambient light sensor.

Because the footprint is straight RMR, the SRO Green Dot direct-mounts anywhere a red SRO or Holosun 507C fits: Glock MOS slides with the correct plate, S&W M&P 2.0 OR, Springfield Echelon, Walther PDP, FN 509 Tactical, and RMR-cut aftermarket slides from ZEV, Agency Arms, and Salient. The trade-offs mirror the red SRO: the tall wide window is less impact-resistant than an RMR and adds snag height for concealment, which keeps this optic in competition and range territory rather than duty holsters.
