The Global Ordnance Monolith 15A is a light, bufferless 5.56 rifle that keeps familiar AR controls while moving the recoil assembly into the upper. Its adjustable stock folds against the receiver, and the rifle can still fire with the stock folded. The fully ambidextrous safety, magazine release, and bolt controls work well for right- or left-handed shooters.
The 16.1-inch barrel assembly sets this version apart. Global Ordnance machines the barrel, extension, gas block, and Dead Air KeyMo brake from one piece of 41V50 steel, then thermally fits the assembly into the upper. The KeyMo interface accepts compatible suppressors without a separate muzzle device, but the integrated brake cannot be swapped for another mounting system.
Standard STANAG magazines, AR-15 triggers, safety selectors, and grips give the Monolith useful parts commonality. The barrel assembly, shortened carrier, recoil system, folding stock, and side-charging upper remain proprietary. Pick it when low weight, folded storage, ambidextrous controls, and a ready-to-use KeyMo suppressor host matter more than ordinary AR barrel and muzzle-device swaps.
