The Glock 19 Gen5 MOS combines the most popular Glock with factory optic mounting capability. For shooters who want a red dot on their compact carry gun or competition pistol without voiding the warranty through aftermarket slide milling, the G19 MOS is the factory solution. The MOS system accepts adapter plates for most popular micro red dots.
The suppressor-height iron sights provide lower-third co-witness with most mounted optics, maintaining a backup sighting system. All Gen5 features are present, including the improved barrel, flared magwell, and refined trigger. The G19 MOS has become extremely popular for USPSA Carry Optics division and concealed carry alike.
Proper installation with thread locker addresses the main criticism of MOS plates (loosening screws), making this a reliable platform for mounted optics. For most shooters, the G19 MOS offers the best combination of concealment, capacity, and optic capability.
