Overview
The Glock 19X is the original Glock crossover pistol, developed from Glock's Modular Handgun System submission and released commercially in 2018. It pairs a G19-length slide and 4.02-inch Glock Marksman Barrel with a full-size grip frame that accepts Glock 17 magazines.
The original 19X does not have a factory MOS optic cut. For red-dot builds, start with a G19 Gen5-pattern optic-cut slide or have the factory slide milled. For everything else, the upgrade path tracks the crossover layout: G19-length barrels and slides, Gen5 Glock trigger parts, full-size Glock magazines, and standard full-size duty pistol lights.
