Overview

The Staccato C2 is the compact carry 2011 in the lineup, the gun that put double-stack 2011 capacity into a frame you can actually conceal. The 3.9-inch bull barrel and 7.5-inch overall length sit below the 4.4-inch Staccato P and the 5-inch XL, and the 25 oz aluminum billet frame is roughly eight ounces lighter than the steel-framed P. That weight reduction is the entire point: the C2 is built to ride in an AIWB holster all day, where the heavier duty and competition 2011s are not.

The 4 to 4.5 lb single-action trigger ships clean, the same fire-control feel that defines the rest of the Staccato 2011 ecosystem. Capacity is 16+1 with two flush 16-round magazines in the box, a meaningful jump over the 10 to 15 rounds of a comparable single-stack or micro-compact carry pistol. The aluminum frame keeps recoil controllable for a gun this light, though it will not soak up muzzle rise the way the 33 oz steel-frame P does. The optic mounting kit covers the RMR, 507C, and DPP footprints through the adapter-plate system, so a Trijicon RMR Type 2 or Holosun 507C drops on without a dedicated cut.

The C2 takes Staccato proprietary 2011 magazines, not Glock or P320 mags; only the newer Staccato HD line accepts Glock pattern magazines. Spare 16-round mags run roughly $70 each, the standing cost of buying into the 2011 platform. The C2 carries no light rail, so weapon-light shooters should look at the rail-equipped Staccato P or HD models instead. With the Staccato CS discontinued in November 2025, the C2 is Staccato's flagship compact-carry 2011 and the natural cross-shop against the Springfield Prodigy and other budget 2011s for buyers who want the genuine Staccato build in a concealable size.

Pros

  • +16+1 double-stack capacity in a 25 oz concealable frame
  • +4 to 4.5 lb single-action trigger out of the box
  • +Aluminum billet frame trims roughly 8 oz off the steel-framed Staccato P
  • +Multi-footprint optic kit covers RMR, 507C, and DPP red dots
  • +3.9" length and 1.49" slide width carry far better than duty-size 2011s

Cons

  • $2,299 MSRP and $2,648 street place it well above striker-fired carry pistols
  • Staccato proprietary 2011 mags at roughly $70 each, no Glock or P320 cross-compatibility
  • No accessory rail, so a frame-mounted weapon light is not an option
  • Lighter aluminum frame manages recoil less than the steel-framed P
  • 1.49" slide width is still wider than micro-compact single-stack carry pistols
